Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-07
Life Map - Plan Where to Live (the "App") is a financial education life simulator developed by Fuji Bit Inc. ("we"). This privacy policy describes how we handle user data.
1. Information We Collect
We do not collect any of the following on our own servers:
- Personally identifiable information (name, email, phone number)
- Location data
- Access to contacts, photos, calendar, or other device data
- Our own analytics or crash reporting
However, some information is processed through third-party services: Google AdMob for ad delivery (see "6. Advertising"), and Google Firebase for learning-content delivery and anonymous authentication (see "7. Server Integration (Firebase)"). The latter generates an anonymous identifier without any name or email; it is not used to collect personally identifying information.
2. App Tracking Transparency (ATT)
The App may serve personalized ads via Google AdMob, which falls under the definition of "tracking" in Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework. Our Privacy Manifest (PrivacyInfo.xcprivacy) declares NSPrivacyTracking = true. The ATT permission dialog is shown on first launch; if declined, IDFA is withheld and only non-personalized ads are served.
3. Information Stored Locally on Device
To preserve game progress, the App stores the following data only on the device (iOS UserDefaults, Android DataStore):
- Onboarding completion flag
- Player state: age, savings, annual income, residence area, work area, life stage, health, family relation points, goal package, months elapsed, home ownership flag, last tick timestamp, pending event queue
- Game speed setting (1× / 2× / 4×)
- "Speed Boost Pro" purchase flag
This data is never transmitted to our servers. It is deleted when the App is uninstalled.
4. Local Notifications
The App schedules local reminders on your device: a "next in-game month has started" reminder, plus daily reminders (morning, noon, evening) encouraging you to take "Today's Money Quiz" and related activities. This notification data is never sent to external servers and does not pass through Apple's or Google's push services (it stays on the device). Permission is optional; you can decline and still play normally.
5. In-App Purchase
The App offers a one-time purchase ("Speed Boost Pro"). Payment processing is handled directly by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We only record an "unlocked" flag on the device. We never receive or store credit card information or buyer-identifying information. Purchases can be restored under the same Apple ID / Google account.
6. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The App integrates Google's advertising SDK (Google Mobile Ads SDK) and displays a banner ad at the bottom of the dashboard plus a rewarded interstitial ad accessible from the "Time Boost" button in Settings. Watching the rewarded ad to completion advances the in-game time by 1 month.
For ad delivery, Google may collect and process:
- Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS / Android Advertising ID)
- Device, OS, language, and coarse location (IP-based)
- Ad impression and click history
Consent is collected via the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent form. Depending on consent, Google serves either personalized or non-personalized ads. For details, see Google Ads and Privacy and the Google Privacy Policy.
7. Server Integration (Firebase)
To deliver learning content such as "Today's Money Quiz" in an up-to-date form without waiting for an app update, the App uses Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication's anonymous sign-in).
- Anonymous authentication: Without any name or email entry, an anonymous identifier (anonymous user ID) used internally by the App is generated automatically. It is not linked to personally identifying information and is not used for ad tracking.
- Content delivery: Quiz and similar content is read from Cloud Firestore. When there is no network connection, the App runs on data bundled within it (offline support).
At present, game progress data (age, savings, etc.; see "3. Information Stored Locally on Device") is stored only on the device and is not sent to Firebase. For how Firebase handles data, see Firebase Privacy and Security and the Google Privacy Policy.
8. Children
The App is designed for all ages, including middle and high school students. We do not perform age verification. AdMob's "family-friendly" settings are used to suppress age-inappropriate creatives. In-app purchases can be restricted via parental controls (iOS Screen Time / Google Family Link).
9. Changes
This policy may be updated without notice. We will announce material changes in-app or in the store description.
